Hygivo does not use advertising, analytics, tracking or social-media cookies, and the app has no third-party tracking embedded. Everything the app stores on your device is strictly necessary for something you asked it to do, so under Irish rules (the ePrivacy Regulations, as explained by the Data Protection Commission) it needs no consent — which is why the app shows no cookie banner. If that ever changes, nothing non-essential will run until you have agreed, and you will be able to refuse as easily as accept, and change your mind later. The hygivo.com website works differently: it asks before counting your visit. See "The hygivo.com website" below.

On the web these are kept in your browser's local storage, not in cookies. You can remove them at any time by signing out or clearing the site's data in your browser settings — Hygivo will then ask you to sign in again.
The hygivo.com website
hygivo.com sets no cookies. It asks before counting your visit. If you accept, it loads Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. If you reject, it doesn't load. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage for 6 months, then we ask again, and you can change it at any time with "Analytics choice" at the bottom of any page. If you start writing a message in its contact form, what you have typed is kept in your browser for that tab only (session storage), so it isn't lost if the page reloads; it is cleared when the message is sent or the tab is closed.
