How to use it
- Record induction training on each person’s first day: hand washing, cleaning, temperatures, allergens and your own procedures.
- Add each course or topic as it happens, with the trainer or provider, and keep any certificate.
- Both the staff member and a manager sign each line.
- Write a refresh date and check the sheet when staff change roles.
EU food hygiene law requires food handlers to be supervised and instructed or trained in food hygiene in line with their work (Regulation (EC) No 852/2004, Annex II, Chapter XII). This sheet does the same job as the FSAI’s hygiene training record (SC6).
When paper gets hard to keep up
Paper sheets get missed on busy days, filled in at the end of a shift, and lost when you need them. In Hygivo, a manager records training for each person, and the person confirms it on their own phone, or says it isn’t right. Training records in Hygivo.
This is general information, not advice for your business. Your food safety management system (HACCP plan) and FSAI guidance are the reference. Hygivo is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FSAI.
